Century Style Wedding Dress
An eighteenth century style wedding dress in a pink/ gold silk dupion with pearl-edged double sleeve flounces in silk and ivory
lace. The lightly boned bodice has back lacing; the skirt has pannier-style drapes.
The gown can be constructed from a choice of silk dupion, or alternatively in taffeta, duchesse satin or embroidered silks. (Construction charges increase for fabrics other than dupion).
|The "Rosella" design was included in the editorial of
Dresses For Brides Magazine
The gown was later used for the cover|
of an historical novel: "Westward the Dream", published in May 2011
||Reminiscent of Keira Knightley's costumes in "Pirates of the Caribbean", this is a highly romantic, yet easy-to-wear style. It can be worn as wedding gown, a period costume over an 18th century corset or as a ball-gown.|
£2200 in silk dupion with lace cuffs. We have over 500 shades of dupion to choose from. For other fabrics, please enquire.
|This design can be varied and individualised|
to each made-to-measure order.
