18th Century Style Corset and Skirt "Cecilia"

Elspeth chose a white silk dupion eighteenth century style corset. It was fully boned with back-lacing. The matching skirt was cartridge pleated at the waist - providing both interest and authenticity. The pure white was a wonderful background for the bride's chosen shades of lavender, lilac and lime in her flowers.

Elspeth's wedding dress saw her through an incredible day - from the ceremony, singing solo in church, saluted by massed Sea Scouts, to being driven to the reception across fields in a jeep. Singing, dancing and harp playing with her guests - a fully boned corset held no restrictions!
