A feast of silk tulle, organza flowers and ribbons, swarovski crystals and cut velvet embroidery. An off-the-shoulder eighteenth century style silk corset with front, back and shoulder lacing has been draped in loops of tulle and crystals. It is decorated with embroidered dragonflies, appliquéd butterflies and panels of antique beading and lace. The draped fabrics are frayed, torn and even burned to achieve an ethereal, other-worldly effect.

Shown with a classic victorian crinoline, covered in ruched and bustled silk and organza, worn over tulle petticoats! The same corset would work also with a softer, simpler skirt of layered silk tulle or crêpe.

This is an extremely individual design, open to personal interpretation regarding colour, fabrics and ornamentation.

The eighteenth century style silk corset is laced at the front, back and shoulder and hand bound around the scalloped edges. It is decorated with embroidered dragonflies, appliquéd butterflies and panels of antique beading and lace. The draped fabrics are frayed, torn and even burned to achieve an ethereal, other-worldly effect. The eighteenth century style corset, covered in beaded and embroidered dragonflies and appliquéd flowers appears to meet with the approval of a real butterfly!
